Brand: ThorLabs | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
A microprocessor controlled optical chopper that modulates a continuous beam for lock-in detection. A crystal-stabilised phase-locked loop holds the chopping speed and phase against a reference, and fifteen blades cover the full frequency range.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Chopping frequency with the various blades | 4 Hz to 10 kHz |
| Frequency drift | less than 20 ppm per degree C |
| Frequency resolution | 0.01 Hz with 2 slot blades, 1 Hz with most blades |
| Specification | Harmonic synchronisation 2 to 15x, subharmonic 1/2 to 1/15x |
| External reference compatibility | TTL/CMOS |
| Specification | USB interface with control software included |

Stepper driven filter wheels with an integrated controller, taking six one inch filters or twelve half inch filters. Filters can be changed by hand at the housing or driven remotely over USB, RS-232 or a BNC trigger for automated measurement sequences.
Rotation mounts that combine continuous 360 degree coarse rotation with a locking dial and backlash-free fine adjustment. They are the standard way to set the angle of polarisers and wave plates in half inch, one inch and two inch sizes.
Prebuilt optomechanical assemblies for launching a free space laser beam into fibre and for spatial filtering. The KT120 uses high-precision differential adjusters for submicron translation, and the KT311 cleans up a beam to a near Gaussian profile.
