The front glass of a high-quality objective is an expensive component, and this screw-on protector shields it from impacts, scratches, environmental effects and damage from handling or cleaning. Cleaning in particular spreads microparticles across the surface where they can cause damage, and the protector stops them settling on the lens glass while itself staying quick and easy to clean. The GHOSTLESS retrofit version fits all existing lenses with the exception of the Vario and Variflex-100. An eight-layer coating maintains optimal image sharpness and high colour quality, and reflections are completely eliminated.
