The "HT-FR" Radial Flow Turbine Model is built around a small-scale radial flow turbine with two nozzles positioned at 90 degrees to the perpendicular direction of the axis of rotation.
FME12 is a bench module with two centrifugal pumps that can be run singly, in series or in parallel. Head and flow are measured for each arrangement so students can build the combined characteristic curves and see how the duty point changes.
