The EM-4V and EM-7V are laboratory electromagnets with indexed ExactGAP air gap settings and interchangeable pole caps. With the optional high-field 2 in pole face at a 7.5 mm gap they reach 2.76 T and 3.22 T. Field falls as the air gap or the pole face diameter increases.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| ExactGAP settings | Index 1 to Index 6, giving 7.5 mm (0.30 in) to 50 mm (1.97 in) air gaps with 2 in pole faces |
| Optional high-field 2 in pole face, Index 1 (7.5 mm) | 27.6 kOe (2.76 T) EM-4V, 32.2 kOe (3.22 T) EM-7V |
| Standard 2 in pole face, Index 1 (7.5 mm) | 26.1 kOe (2.61 T) EM-4V, 30.5 kOe (3.05 T) EM-7V |
| Standard 2 in pole face, Index 6 (50 mm) | 9.1 kOe (0.91 T) EM-4V, 15.4 kOe (1.54 T) EM-7V |
| Standard 4 in pole face, Index 1 (57.5 mm) | 7.9 kOe (0.79 T) EM-4V, 13.5 kOe (1.35 T) EM-7V |

The Model 643 is a bipolar, 4-quadrant DC current source for driving laboratory electromagnets. It supplies up to +/-70 A at +/-35 V nominal, 2450 W, using fully linear regulation to keep current ripple low. The 4-quadrant output lets the field be swept through zero.
Lake Shore search coils are handheld coils used with the Model 480 fluxmeter to measure magnetic flux and flux density. They are optimised for magnets fixed in an assembly or mounted in a narrow gap, where a Helmholtz coil cannot be used. Two area-turn options are offered.
The Model 648 is a 9 kW bipolar, 4-quadrant DC current source for large research electromagnets. It delivers up to +/-135 A at +/-75 V into a nominal 0.5 ohm, 0.5 H load, with 10 mA RMS current ripple. Protection covers short circuit, line faults and over temperature.
