A data acquisition and virtual instrumentation system communicating over Wi-Fi. It performs acquisition, conditioning, processing and display of the signals connected to the unit, removing the wired link to the computer.
Teaches linear and angular speed measurement. A miniature motor drives a shaft whose speed is set by the voltage applied to the actuator, and the speed sensors on the module are compared as that voltage is varied.
A unit for practicals on light intensity measurement using photodiodes, which generate a current or voltage when the semiconductor junction is illuminated. Students measure the response of the sensors and build the measuring circuits.
