Brand: Erweka | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
A semi automated dissolution system with connected UV-Vis measurement and sample collection, controlled by Disso.NET. Erweka present it as the ideal configuration for spectrophotometers: the attached PC runs the whole system through the Disso.NET software, which also gives full control over all components. Once analysis finishes, samples are stored using Erweka's own FRL 6/7/854 sample collector.

Erweka's HPLC on/offline system is the semi automated route to 100 % USP / EP / JP compliant dissolution testing with HPLC online analysis. Up to 5 of the 8 dissolution steps can be automated by pairing a DT 950 or DT 9510 series tester with CTC sampling and online HPLC chromatography, the whole set controlled by Disso.NET. For filtration at 0.45 µm the automatic filter changer AFC 825 works alongside the maintenance free PVP pump, with other filter sizes available on request. After the dissolution test and double filtration with the PVP 820 pump and the AFC 825, medium is transferred to the HPLC sampler, filled into a PEEK transfer block and distributed into vials, where samples can be diluted for immediate analysis or cooled and shielded from UV radiation for later analysis.
Erweka's dissolution online systems are a semi automatic solution for dissolution testing with automated UV/VIS online analysis. The DT 950 with its integrated, automated ASS-9 sampling station carries freshly sampled media straight to the UV/VIS analyser, where samples are measured and results stored in Erweka's Disso.NET software. Analysers offered include the Mettler Toledo UV7, the Shimadzu 1900i Plus, the Analytik Jena Specord 200/210 Plus and the Thermo Fisher Evolution Pro, each combined with the DT 950 and either an IPC 8 peristaltic pump or a PVP piston pump. Every component is controlled from the Disso.NET PC software.
Erweka state that the RoboDis II+ is the only simultaneously operating, fully automatic dissolution test system currently on the market, with every stage of the dissolution process computer controlled and carried out without user intervention. Disso.NET is the key element, controlling all system functions including precise movement of the robot arm, control of the analysers, data processing and full documentation. In standard configuration it tests up to 10 batches to USP method 1 (basket) or 2 (paddle), and the parallel sampling approach gives very short cycle times for detailed drug release profiles. Integrated System Suitability Tests and video monitoring support reliability, and a 10 batch system needs no more than 2 x 1 m of floor space.
