An ICU bed built on a solid base made from 5.0mm stamped rotating plate and finished in environmental plastic that can be sterilised at 100°C with tensile strength up to 30MPa. Four linear motors handle backrest, knee rest, height and tilt, and the bed follows the EN60601 safety standard. Angle indicators for backrest and Trendelenburg position are fitted at four points.
