Designed by EDIBON, the Crystallization Unit, "QUCB", is a unit for studying the cooling crystallization process. It was developed to study the crystallization reaction of constituents whose solubility changes with temperature.
A 60 l semicontinuous centrifugal separator supplied as a pilot plant, used by EDIBON to demonstrate the recovery of lignin from lignocellulosic biomass. It allows solid and liquid separation at pilot scale to be studied under computer and touch screen control.
Designed by EDIBON, the Advanced Crystallization Unit, "QUCB/A", is a crystallization unit based on the cooling method. It allows observation and study of the mass transfer industrial operation in which a solid is formed from a homogeneous phase (dissolved solute).
