Brand: Microtrac MRB | Category: Scientific & Laboratory Equipment
The current generation vacuum degasser in the BELPREP line, preparing samples for gas adsorption analysis by heating them under vacuum until adsorbed species are removed. It is used ahead of BET surface area and pore size measurements.

Erweka's DT 950 is an advanced digital dissolution tester built on embedded PC technology, with a 7 inch touch display, an intuitive user interface and a fully integrated Audit Trail for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. TestAssist guides the operator step by step through test configuration so only compliant parameters are entered for USP / EP / JP conform dissolution testing. Method Management allows methods to be created, edited and approved, User Management handles access control and rights, and data export to FTP servers gives LIMS connectivity. The system can be upgraded from 6 to 8 test stations, fitted with automatic tablet drop or temperature sensors for each vessel, and switched between low head and high head modes.
Vacuum degassing station that removes adsorbed moisture and gases from samples before an adsorption measurement. Incomplete degassing is the commonest source of error in BET surface area work, because residual water occupies the sites the measurement is meant to count.
Erweka describe the DT 9510 series as the big brother of the DT 950. It is driven by the same integrated PC, and its up to 14 test stations run from a single powerful motor while the large water bath holds temperature steady through the thermal inertia of the water. That allows two batches of samples to be tested in parallel under exactly the same conditions, 100 % USP / EP compliant. The optional AirLift system raises and lowers the dissolution head at the press of two buttons, with a two hand safety arrangement that stops the movement as soon as either button is released. TestAssist and automatic tablet drop are carried over from the smaller model.
