A 45° swivel coupling with balancing mechanism, installed between the microscope carrier and the floating arm. Mounting an observer tube, a camera or any other accessory produces an asymmetric load distribution, and this device removes that problem. The microscope head can be swivelled into any position and rebalanced in no time, so unwanted lateral swivel movements stop happening. A rotary knob sets how freely the system moves.
