The largest vibratory sieve shaker in the Retsch range, using controlled electromagnetic tapping technology to drive sieve stacks of up to 25 kg. It accepts 400 mm and 450 mm sieves and covers a measuring range from 25 µm to 125 mm, which takes in coarse aggregate as well as fine fractions. Amplitude is digitally set and held constant regardless of load.
Horizontal sieve shaker that moves the sieve stack in a circular motion in the horizontal plane. That action suits needle shaped, flat, long or fibrous particles and abrasives, where a throwing motion would give a poor separation. It takes sieve diameters up to 400 mm, so it covers coarse aggregate fractions.
Air jet sieving machine for fine powders that agglomerate or will not pass a mesh under vibration alone. A rotating slotted nozzle blows a jet of air up through the mesh to disperse the sample while a vacuum draws the undersize away, so each cut is made on a single sieve rather than a stack. It is used where a conventional vibratory shaker cannot disperse the material.
