The SC1231 is a heavy duty three drawer cabinet for the safe and compliant containment of radioactive materials in high use environments such as nuclear medicine, radiopharmacies and isotope laboratories. 12.5 mm of lead shielding on all sides gives enhanced protection against medium energy gamma radiation. Each of the three shielded drawers measures 355 x 443 x 156 mm internally and takes vials, sources and radiopharmaceutical components, with a compact footprint that integrates into existing workspaces. The body is stainless steel and the front is a customisable high pressure laminate (HPL) panel in various RAL colours.
A Type A transport package built around a tungsten container, for shipping radiopharmaceuticals and sealed sources under the transport regulations. Shielding is 40 mm of tungsten, inside dimensions Ø28 x 56mm.
