Brand: Oxford Instruments | Category: Nanotechnology
A mobile confocal Raman system for the applications where the laboratory has to travel to the sample. The Raman probe is positioned flexibly in front of bulky, immovable or precious objects that cannot be transported to a microscope or that will not fit under one. The system ships in a flight case of roughly 100 by 60 by 60 cm, covers about 90 to 3500 cm-1 depending on excitation wavelength, and is offered with 532 nm, 633 nm or 785 nm lasers at output powers from 30 mW to more than 200 mW. Spatial resolution is diffraction limited and the system runs under Microsoft Windows 11.

inVia Basis is the entry level model in Renishaw's inVia confocal Raman microscope range, which also holds the inVia Reflex and the flagship inVia Qontor. Like the other models it couples a research grade microscope to a high performance Raman spectrometer on a custom honeycomb baseplate that is stable enough that an optical or anti-vibration table is not normally required. On the Basis model, automated measurement queuing, automated Raman calibration correction, laser auto-align and Raman signal auto-align are included, and stereo viewing through binocular eyepieces is an option. Software microscope control, automatic white light and Raman switching, the internal neon wavelength calibration source and LiveTrack focus tracking are not available on this model.
Published by Oxford Instruments as the world's first fully integrated Raman imaging and scanning electron microscope, bringing every feature of a stand-alone SEM and of the confocal witec360 Raman microscope into one instrument. Switching between the Raman and SEM measurement positions is quick and the sample transfer between them is automated, so results correlate and images overlay directly. Diffraction limited lateral resolution is 200 to 300 nm, three dimensional images and depth profiles are supported, and an ultra-fast Raman imaging option brings integration time down to 0.76 ms per spectrum. A RISE-EDS configuration adds Raman-SEM-EDS in the same instrument.
inVia Reflex sits between the entry level inVia Basis and the fully automated inVia Qontor in Renishaw's confocal Raman microscope range. On top of the shared inVia spectrometer and research grade microscope it adds software microscope control, automatic switching between white light and Raman, automatic saving of the white light image with the data, combined white light and laser video viewing, and memorised automatic post collection viewing. An internal neon wavelength calibration source, internal reference standards for auto-calibration and a performance health check are included as well. LiveTrack automated focus tracking stays exclusive to the inVia Qontor model.
