A training unit for building and commissioning three-phase transformers. Students wind the coils with a hand winder, assemble the core, connect the windings and then measure the finished machine before putting it into service.
Designed by EDIBON, the Fault Simulation Application in Three Phase Transformers, "AEL-ESAT", simulates non-destructive faults in three-phase transformers and applies diagnostic and localization techniques.
A base rack of power supplies, push buttons, three-phase autotransformer, AC ammeter, circuit breakers, timers and flywheel, completed by motor options. Each option adds a different machine with its own modules so a range of induction motor manoeuvres can be wired.
