The 8600 Series VSM is a vibrating sample magnetometer used to measure the magnetic moment of materials. It reaches a noise floor of 15 nemu at 10 s/pt, applies fields up to 3.62 T and acquires data at 10 ms per point. It is used for magnetic characterisation of films, powders and bulk samples.
